Johnny Devas,  is a retired architect who has worked in France, Greece, Qatar, Egypt, Hong Kong and the UK. His projects range from a mud-brick school in Sinai, chateaux in France, urban development and museum in Qatar, airports in Hong Kong, Lyon and Heathrow, and the Duke of York mixed use development for the Cadogan Estate in Chelsea.

He was Président of the Syndicat des Architectes du Tarn et Garonne in 1983 and President of the Franco-British Union of Architects (FBUA) in 2012. He is currently a committee member of the FBUA, a trustee of the Devas Club and a regular volunteer with the Makhad Trust, working with Jebeliyah Bedouin on water conservation and local development projects in the High Mountains of South Sinai.
