Are you detail-oriented and proficient in bookkeeping? We’re looking for a dedicated Bookkeeper to join our team and help manage our financial records one day a week.
Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping in Xero: Taking responsibility for bookkeeping tasks in Xero
Sales Invoices: Raising sales invoices
Purchase Invoices: Entering purchase invoices
Staff Expenses: Reviewing staff expenses
General Bookkeeping: Bank reconciliations, processing expenses, and reconciliation
Ledgers: Maintaining Sales and Purchase Ledgers
Accruals and Deferred Income: Managing accruals and deferred income considerations
Management Accounts: Preparing management accounts
Historic Bookkeeping Issues: Rectifying historic bookkeeping issues
Financial Reports: Reconciling Xero financial reports (trial balance) to filed statutory accounts
Bank Reconciliation: Reconciling bank statements
Payment Runs: Supporting weekly payment runs
Skills & Qualifications:
Excel Skills: Excellent Excel skills
Accounting Software: Some experience using accounting software (Xero experience preferred)
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, proactive, and self-motivated
Task Management: Ability to effectively prioritise and handle multiple tasks to deadlines
