Are you detail-oriented and proficient in bookkeeping? We’re looking for a dedicated Bookkeeper to join our team and help manage our financial records one day a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping in Xero: Taking responsibility for bookkeeping tasks in Xero

  • Sales Invoices: Raising sales invoices

  • Purchase Invoices: Entering purchase invoices

  • Staff Expenses: Reviewing staff expenses

  • General Bookkeeping: Bank reconciliations, processing expenses, and reconciliation

  • Ledgers: Maintaining Sales and Purchase Ledgers

  • Accruals and Deferred Income: Managing accruals and deferred income considerations

  • Management Accounts: Preparing management accounts

  • Historic Bookkeeping Issues: Rectifying historic bookkeeping issues

  • Financial Reports: Reconciling Xero financial reports (trial balance) to filed statutory accounts

  • Bank Reconciliation: Reconciling bank statements

  • Payment Runs: Supporting weekly payment runs

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excel Skills: Excellent Excel skills

  • Accounting Software: Some experience using accounting software (Xero experience preferred)

  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, proactive, and self-motivated

  • Task Management: Ability to effectively prioritise and handle multiple tasks to deadlines
