Devas Club offers a variety of meeting spaces and community facilities for short or long term hire at affordable rates. Our aim is to:

  • Provide affordable meeting, desk and office space to local charitable and community groups, as well as, social enterprises, community interest companies and businesses.
  • Support young people led groups to develop their skills and services at the club.
  • Provide young people and the wider community with affordable opportunities to engage in activities or events that nurtures talent and enhances overall wellbeing.
  • Manage and maintain a safe environment for all users respecting that groups and individuals have different needs and manage them accordingly.

Facilities at Devas for hire include:

  • Large ground floor, including Art Room and meeting rooms
  • IT suite and future Reading Area

Spaces for Hire
Blue Hall

About the space
Ideal for medium to large events or meetings of up to 40 people. Hiring our Blue Hall means automatic access into our courtyard. It is often used for small-scale performances such pantomime, spoken word and acoustic musical performances. On a regular day, it functions as our games room as part of our youth club offer to young people.

Wi-Fi access, Piano (for performances), courtyard access and kitchen access (may come at additional cost). Food and drink allowed.

About the space
Situated on the first floor (two flights of stairs). Our main hall has hosted some of the finest live performances and musical theatre groups. We also host a number of indoor sports activities such as muay thai, fencing and football. The space is also ideal for meetings, conferences or an awards reception of up to 120 people. Make it your own in theatre, cabaret or assembly layout.

Wi-Fi access, ready-to-build stage, chairs (all layout types), lighting and a water dispenser system. Only bottled water and drinks with lids are allowed.

About the space
Ballet, tap or hip hop – our dance studio situated on the first floor is the perfect space to get you ready for the big performance. The space has also been used to host community groups, and awaydays i.e. if audio-visual requirements are not essential for the meeting. Space holds up to 20 people.

Wi-Fi access, sound system, mirrors (for rehearsals) and a water cooler is within easy reach. Light refreshments only.

Also known as the Arthur Down room, a small meeting or activity space with its own kitchenette, entrance and self-contained restroom facility. This space is perfect for freelancers, professionals, social enterprises, community interest companies and businesses looking for affordable space for a meeting, small cocktail party or to use as an office.

Wi-Fi access, own bar/kitchenette, self-contained restroom and access to self-contained lockable storage. Projector and screen available upon request, and food and drink are allowed.
